Well then it's time to put on your apron because Cupcake Day for the RSPCA is back!

This truly delectable day dedicated to pure sugar indulgence is on Monday 16 August.

There are two ways in which you can help raise money:

• You can hold a cupcake party, give your cupcakes away for free and collect donations - which qualifies for a tax deduction. The money raised can either be upload or sent in to the RSPCA WA directly.

OR

• You can sell your cupcakes and donate the proceeds from the sale to the RSPCA WA - however keep in mind that this is not tax deductable.

Last year, $1.1 million was raised nationally on Cup Cake Day. This year, our target is $2.5 million - not unrealistic given the popularity of office bakeoffs and growing global cupcake trends! All proceeds raised in WA stays within our state.

The RSPCA WA is implores you to join forces with work colleagues, friends at school, social club members, friends and family and get involved! Regardless of your culinary skills, your support in holding a Cupcake Day Party on the day will ensure proceeds raised go towards supporting animal welfare. Whilst having fun and indulging, the money you raise will help make a difference to thousands of animals in need in WA.

You can register as a Cupcake Cook or go into training as a Cupcake Eater.

PLUS for every $100 raised online, you'll receive an additional entry into the draw to win 2 Kymco scooters - perfect for those last minute bakery deliveries!

And if you're culinary-challenged, you can purchase cupcakes from Just Cupcakes in the month of AUGUST.
